Dear uneducated whining fans
The boys from simple plan have pretty much been touring none stop for a decade, have been going into the studio to record new albums and have been contributing to society somehow. THen there’s the foundation that requires a lot of work. There’s chuck and pierre that write songs for other artists. Then Seb has man of the hour with patrick and his side projects. Jeff recently bought a restaurant.
They DESERVE to have time off and spend it with their families and loved ones. You all need to learn to APPRECIATE what those 5 boys do for us on a pretty much daily basis. They always want to stay in touch with us the best they can. They always are up for autographs and a chat.
There’s WORSE ways a band could treat their fans and yet all you do is complain about the stupidest shit out there. So what if Pierre wasnt at the promo tour for the book. HE WAS DONATING HIS TIME TO CHARITY!!!! and Even IF he were to spend it with his family it’s his GOD GIVEN RIGHT!
There are bands who have been doing this for 20 some years. Have you ever heard of billy joe pulling away from Green day because of his kids? Or The lead of Aerosmith? The stones? Bon Jovi?
They DESERVE to see their little ones grow UP!
And if this is honestly the biggest worry you have in your life. RE EVALUATE YOUR LIFE CHOICES!

that simple plan wont be in Europe in the fall, but more pushing it back to early 2013. At least they are coming back, and have played many shows over there with this album and will play more.
At least you dont have to wait until they are done touring, have a break, start writing, record the next…
First and foremost let me point out that i totally understand that these kids that bitch and moan want to see them in europe asap again and were looking forward to dates in the fall. HOWEVER I fully understand that the bitching and the moaning needs to stop, esp from those who have been privileged like the europeans.
BEFORE YOU BITCH AND MOAN will you ALL take a moment and learn for pete’s sake that this is an INDUSTRY!!!!!!!! which is about MONEY!!!! They have pushed back the Euro tour because they know they have a steady income when they come here! It’s NOW that they have to ACT on the places where they are POPULAR AT THE MOMENT. Those are the ones THEY risk LOSING if not going there STRAIGHT away. Simple plan KNOWS europe will ALWAYS be there FOR THEM!
So let them explore those places, let them create a steady fanbase by actually showing up in places they’ve never been to. THEY WILL BE BACK. like i said it’s europe, they’ll ALWAYS be back.
So now that youve learned THAT lesson, stop the bitching and moaning and celebrate that our boys are still going to new places that WANT them there. This guarantees a more secure base for them AFTER they get back FROM the studio.

so sick and tired of the majority of this fanbase - and then they wonder why I do not play well with fans
I have had it with the rants about simple plan going places other than theirs and they feel the need to whine and bitch about it all the time instead of doing something about it. For some reason the majority does NOT grasp that simple plan IS first and FOREMOST a BUSINESS! If everyone would LEARN how this business works, they could use it to THEIR advantage and come up with ways to get the band AIRPLAY in THEIR town instead of using all their energy to bitch about them not coming to their town.
I am sick and tired of the fact that the vast majority does NOT respect the concept privacy when it comes to famous people! It’s as if the majority thinks that the way you treat any human being, does not apply when people are famous. Yet they ARE human. They deserve to be treated just like you and me.
You are supposed to love those boys unconditionally and respect them and the little privacy they have. Their families and loved ones did NOT ask to be in the public eye. They are in it because they LOVE the boys. This however does NOT mean that FANS have the RIGHT to go on facebook or photolog or whatever it is they use and STEAL personal PICTURES and PUT them OUT THERE for EVERYONE to see!
These confessions that are out there, seem to be more a way to cause drama in the fandom than anything else. It are no longer confessions but ways to provoke the fandom under anon and then people are surprised that it gets reaction by people!
Just STOP IT! WHY WHY WHY would you do these things? Do you honestly think that the boys are gonna love you more if they knew you did those things? Are you deliberately trying to get the boys to dislike you with your behaviour? Seriously! Ask yourself this, would anyone like you if they knew what you are capable of?

summer paradise ft k’naan VS summer paradise ft Sean Paul
I still prefer version 1 with k’naan over the sean paul version but that might be because i am biased at the moment and have had the priviledge to listen to summer paradise CD version for eons over this version nonetheless. I like the song, It gives me the same feeling as the one with k’naan just a lil more different i guess. The one with k’naan actually reminds me of the gigs of them ive been to, the feeling i get and when i hear that song it’s like my anthem of “touring’” like the verse “but some day i will find my way back to where your name is written in the sand” to me that’s code to name written on the drum or backdrop and the k’naan version also gives me that exact feeling. It’s more of a laid back chillin in the back of the venue, meeting the guys afterwards kinda vibe.
I know the lyrics are the same but with the Sean Paul version it gives me more of a front row party type of thing which is also an amazing feeling and amazing place to be. Just right now the laid back one is my fave but then again it’s past midnight so that could be the reason. It might change in the morning.
So boys give the song a chance to grow on me like the first version and ill let you guys know on tour what i think of it and which version is my favorite
